This song started with a piece of writing based on
a merging of the concept of fantasy and the notion of suicide
coming up with the hybrid word "Fantacide'
Then, a 'two in the room live jam between Michelle and I was gotten down to tape..
then i dubbed the best bits of the jam from the 4 track cassette to a two track master in such a way as to give the master dub some structure as a song
i then added some bass and double tracked vocals and viola !
lyrics
Diversity of mind stares like stunned wild animals
inside slowly silenced spines
a strand of knowledge
a block of confusion
Fantacide ... fantacide
good? bad? happy or sad ?
normal or mad ?
fact or fantasy ?
Blind and lonely arrogant fools
ego beyond reality
he the one with heart of stone
he gives his score to everyone
tallied murder not his alone
he gives his score to everyone
